De Kikkervijver Lodge
De Kikker Vijver is an authentic log cabin with stunning views of Mt Lyford and the Seaward Kaikoura’s. Nestled in natural surroundings of manuka and grasses, the cabin overlooks a large frog pond that reflects the beauty of the surrounding landscape.
De Kikker Vijver has been designed to accommodate up to 13 people in the log cabin and stargazer. There are 11 beds in the lodge itself comprised of two double rooms, a bunk room (sleeps 5) and a loft (an open mezzanine area with sofa bed).
Your group will have exclusive use of the lodge during your stay.
RATES:
Summer: (11 Oct – 31 May )
$ 120.00 per night for up to 2 people, $ 25 per extra person.
Winter: (1 June – 10 Oct )
Weekends and holidays: $ 250.00 per night for up to 6 people, $25 per extra person
Weekdays [not holidays]: $ 200.00 per night for up to 6 people, $25 per extra person
Minimum stay during winter - 2 nights
STARGAZER
The Stargazer is a unique night time 'sleeping under the stars' experience! It is set in a very secluded part of the section. The stargazer is a small building where you can lay back and enjoy a night under the stars. Great for kids or for a couple. Enjoy the feeling of being out under the stars in the double glazed fully insulated stargazer. Price $ 60 for up to 2 p.
